Dave Wiebusch
President, Taylor Transportation, LLC
Dave is the President of Taylor Transportation Inc. and its affiliates where he oversees all commercial, financial, and operational activities. Dave is active in various national and regional trucking associations and is a recognized leader in the transportation industry.
Prior to joining Taylor Transportation, Dave served as Director of Operations for Indian River Transport Company in charge of Liquid Food Grade operations. Prior to that, he served in similar roles hauling perishable freight with Cold Carriers Inc., Swift Transportation Co. Inc, Merit Distribution Services Inc., and Monfort Transportation Inc.. With Swift, Dave helped to expand Walmart’s retail grocery business into the Western United States. Most of Dave’s career has been in the refrigerated trucking segment which has led to the high sense of urgency that is within him.
Dave attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he studied Business Management with a concentration in Accounting.
Richard Morin
Vice President of Equipment and Maintenance
Rick is Vice President of Equipment and Maintenance at Taylor where he is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and operations of the tractor and trailer fleet as well as facility and shop management. In addition, he oversees Taylor’s Safety and Compliance programs.
Before transferring to Taylor Transportation, Rick served as Vice President of Maintenance for Taylor’s former parent, Celadon Group Inc. Prior to Celadon, he was Vice President of Shop Operations with Cold Carriers, Swift Transportation, Merit Distribution Service, and Builders Transportation. With Swift, Rick was also responsible for equipment maintenance at all Walmart retail grocery distribution centers nationwide. Rick’s career experience spans nearly every manufacturer and covers refrigerated, dry van, flatbed, specialized hopper, and tanker equipment.
Rick served in the United States Air Force where he was in Aerospace Ground Equipment Maintenance.
John Sainsbury
Vice President of Finance
John brings 25 years of finance experience in trucking and other industrial businesses to the Taylor team where he serves as Vice President of Finance. His responsibilities include overseeing Taylor’s accounting, IT, finance, and human resource functions.
Before joining Taylor, John was most recently a Partner with GGG Partners where he provided interim CFO and CAO services in turnaround, buyout, distressed, and liquidation situations. Prior to GGG Partners, John held various senior executive roles in finance with Prime Power Services, Swoozies, Levy Restaurant Group, and MGM of Georgia. Beyond finance and accounting, John has deep expertise in process development and complex systems implantation with a focus on modernizing legacy organizational systems.
John is a graduate of Georgia State University and holds his CPA license.
